~Unofficial Bio~
I was born in early October, giving my family no excuse not to buy me good gifts ["Too close to Christmas, Easter . . ." The list goes on]. Therefore, I have a pretty good attitude toward birthdays in general. Though I feel it necessary to use an alias, the name Emily Rhodel [stolen from a character in my first novel] has become a name all for itself. Not that I have an alter ego - for the character is very much me - but the name has merely come alive as the character, giving me an almost intolerable impression that this fictional teen does in fact exist. Since I was old enough to carry a book, I would sink my teeth into any story I could reach for with tiny hands. Even if it meant making up a story to go with the pictures [through I would surely die were I forced to such drastic measures at this age!] I read everything from picture books to those funny, incomprehensible squiggles scrawled upon those thick, white pages in that towering stack of books your mother claims is 'Reader's Digest'.

Now that I am passed the needed to use pictures as a guide for reading stories, I read many novels. I always loved fantasy and slowly but surly I gained interest in mystery and myths. I always loved vampires and ghosts. They never frightened me even as a child. I am scared of stupider things like clowns and pain.

[Side Note: The only bone I have ever broken is my right foot. The cause? I fell out of my crib as a baby. I guess I didn't have much grace in me to begin with. End of Side Note.]

Some of the author who inspired me [and in no particular order] are: Jane Austen, Shakespeare, Stephanie Meyer and Stephen King. I have a VERY hard time writing [or doing anything at all] without music. My favorites bands are: Linkin Park, Aly and Aj, Evanescense, Flyleaf and My Chemical Romance.
