The News
Okay this is SB. We (Emm and I) have some news and we hope you can trust us and respect our decision. When I am next able to talk to Emily, I will update this page and tell you what we have to say. Trust us. Please. We luv ya'll! Really we do.
Here's the News:
We are postponing TGR because we fill as though our writing has evolved to much for what we originally had planned for this book. We are still keeping the site and we will be picking up TGR from time to time. But please understand that we came up with this story when we were 10 and 11. At that age (for us at least) our story was filled with Mary-Sues and retarded crap. Unlike Stephenie Meyer TGR is NOT on hold indefinitely. And sorry we will not be posting what we have written, because we will be picking it up later. For now we are focusing on projects such as Sleep and DOL which are far closer to being finished and published than TGR ever was. We feel our obligation is to get you all a published book to read like we promised, and we feel as if other projects are better for that. It seems to us that continuing to talk about TGR like its closer to being done than it really is would be wrong, espicialy since you've supported us unquestioningly from day one.

First of all let me BEG for your forgiveness. I had NO idea it had been this long since last getting on!! I have really been thinking about y'all lately and nearly hit myself when i realised i hadn't been on for over two months! or almost that much.
Nextly...I totally respect the decision. I am a big fan of TGR, and it has a wonderful plot. Let me give y'all a few pointers - since I have been there so many times. Lots of experience on this end! I've tried to edit things that I wrote when I was younger and make good books out of them, and I have realised that does NOT work. Everything gets so tied up and your brain is struggling to remember what EXACTLY was in your head when you wrote it a few years ago. Your grammar and vocabulary and mental images and plots were more inferior to what they are now, and they will continue to grow as you get smarter. (stay in school. :P <3) So, unfortunately, there are two options: 1. REWRITE. Keep the plot and charries, do some modifying to those two things, but use none of the material that you began with when you were 10/11. 2. START FROM SCRATCH. Keep the VERY BASIC plotline, MAYHAPS a couple of charries, but in absolutely everything else, start over. I wish there was a way to combine the two, and there isn't since they are somewhat the same thing. Well now I must go because the size limit for comments is drawing near. I agree with yo guys....my writing was extremely crappy when I was that age, too, and I wonuldn't even touch some of the stuff I wrote. My current half-finished novels are much better, so I understand your decision. What about the rest of you on this site?
