Okay this is SB. We (Emm and I) have some news and we hope you can trust us and respect our decision. When I am next able to talk to Emily, I will update this page and tell you what we have to say. Trust us. Please. We luv ya'll! Really we do.

Here's the News:

We are postponing TGR because we fill as though our writing has evolved to much for what we originally had planned for this book. We are still keeping the site and we will be picking up TGR from time to time. But please understand that we came up with this story when we were 10 and 11. At that age (for us at least) our story was filled with Mary-Sues and retarded crap. Unlike Stephenie Meyer TGR is NOT on hold indefinitely. And sorry we will not be posting what we have written, because we will be picking it up later. For now we are focusing on projects such as Sleep and DOL which are far closer to being finished and published than TGR ever was. We feel our obligation is to get you all a published book to read like we promised, and we feel as if other projects are better for that. It seems to us that continuing to talk about TGR like its closer to being done than it really is would be wrong, espicialy since you've supported us unquestioningly from day one.

This site was created to attract readers and publishers for an over 500-page book written by my friend and me. As you may already know this book is called The Goddess Realm. This book is said to be or become the next Harry Potter. We hope that you guys can somehow help us in our search for a publisher! Maintaining a somewhat long-distance friendship is difficult to some, but for these girls it come second nature only being topped by being together. Each Sarahbeth and Emily (Alex) have brought forth something new to the world of creative writing.

“When The Goddess Realm first started out it was crap,” says Sarahbeth laughing at her and her friend stupidity – or so she says.

“Our course when we started writing we were young, very young, and probably the world most horrible writers. After reading countless books we discovered what the true meaning of being an author inferred.”

And so the girls rewrote The Goddess Realm or TGR as they so brilliantly call it dozens of times never seeming good enough. The story’s plot line changed from Sarah and Emily being ‘Mary-Sue’s’ which in authors’ terms means perfect to having their own personalities and not relying so much on having ‘oh-powerful-everyone-must-love-me appeal.’ That oh so professional description could only be from the mouth of Sarahbeth who says that she and Emily actually spend time whenever they get together laughing at the ridiculousness of their prior writing.

“It was…oh my gosh just horrific,” comments Emily Rhodel. “I couldn’t even spell minute and Sarahbeth still makes comments about that one. I wonder if I give her enough goldfish if she’ll shut up. Love ya sissy!”

The story originally started with Sarah and Emily eating breakfast and reading the newspaper.

“What rare species of teenager actually read the newspaper if not for the funnies,” Quotes both girls who agree with each other.” The girls each had an unbelievable amount of power which to the authors was ridiculous.

“So can you give us any spoilers?” Interviewer Catherine Shane questions.

“I don’t know Emm should we?” Sarahbeth turns to her friend for confirmation.

“It’s hard to say but I guess one tidbit wouldn’t hurt.”

Preface

I couldn’t figure out why the pen was shaking. My mind was at ease, miraculously, considering the situation. Yet my body seemed determined to prove this tranquility false— an aching head; a trembling hand, and, as I re-read the words on the stained paper, silent tears plunging from my eyes.

Brushing the wetness away with my sleeve, I attempted to block out my actions to no avail. I could almost hear the minutes slipping away; the clock hands winding with relentless force toward the death my mind failed to imagine.

How strange it was to feel the need to agonize over time, or the world, for that matter. This outside force, so alien to me the previous months, was now the point of focus in the haze of ease— along with my demise of course.

My left hand gave a wild jerk as I signed my name at the bottom of the paper. A tear fell directly over it and as I took in the many drops covering the page, I felt it was symbolic, the last more than others.

As I sealed away my entire existence, I drew regret from my choices and the lie I was living at this moment. The truth suddenly burst into my mind, leaving me staggered as I struggled to dig out some token of an alternative.

There was none. Only the awful reality threatening to crush my unstable form. The reason for my being could no longer simply rush me to the peacefulness of sleep; I would have to face this with a fully awake mind. The tears flowed freely and I did nothing to stop them as I fell to the floor, clutching the envelope in my hands. I let the truth fill my heart, mind and soul— mind aware of what I was about to face— and let the waves of despair crash over me.

Surprise!

I wish I could give you a release date for Sleep. I would love to say I have at least finished writing the novel. However, I cannot. Sorry!

But, I can tell you I do have a few surprises for you. For tonight, you'll get a bit of information which no one but you will get.

Okay,
1. Sleep is a romance-thriller which I am guessing (with the current rate at which the novel is going) will be over 800 pages.
2. Sleep is split into five parts.
3. Sleep is around 180 pages (on my computer, not in actual book form)
4. I have a twisted sense of humor so I'll expect you back here tomorrow, October 30th for more coll facts. Ha ha! See, FUNNY!

Harry Potter captivated readers all over the world. The Twilight Series stole attention from people of all ages, providing a vampire love story without gore.

Now, a third series will, as relentlessly, steal the hearts of many who were bitten by any book out there. This novel is called Sleep by Alexandra Leigh Meyson. With a name soon to be as wide-spread as Rowling and Meyer, a fifteen year-old girl is busy working on what many are calling "the next Twilight" with a bite as hard as any vampire's. Miss Meyson has even added her own twist on things. As in, rather than using vampires or boy wizards, a new creature will be introduced to our world. "I hope my readers will be able to separate 'Sleep' from Twilight and Harry Potter," Meyson reveals to Carrie Wilson in an interview. "Though I do think it is closer to Twilight in comparison. I plan to finish it soon. And I will reveal my Agent as soon as the papers are signed." Best friend Sarahbeth says, "Bias aside I have been a huge fan of Twilight and Harry Potter but in Sleep it just takes me into a world where stereo types are formed through of own minds leaving it to that of our imagination and not that of the outside world. Utterly amazing!"

"Alexandra has really been working hard on this," Tiffany Shay (head of the TGR crew) tells us. "Her hold on our TGR website has slipped slightly, so we haven't gotten many more page ideas recently. We are all trying to help Alex and Sarahbeth with their novels before we reveal more of the story to the users. We all feel terrible about this and are struggling to keep up our image. But the user's have tried their best to stay devoted and are doing a pretty good job considering our slacking." "They've told us to work on our novel's first," Alexandra adds. "I agree. Its better to slack in updates than quite writing. Besides, Sleep will be published soon and then we have The Goddess Realm. There will be plenty of updates and possibly a more professional website. UNOFFICIAL BIO

My name is not really Sarahbeth Rhodel. Like Emmie, I feel it necessary to use an alias. Sarah Rhodel is the main character's name of my first novel but I added Beth in there as a memory to my sister who passed May 20, 2007. But I was born in May and I started singing when I was two years old. And this I thought was funny when my mom told me - I was jumping off diving boards at eight months.

I have an older sister Casey. And two dogs Toby and Sabrina. I have a strange and overpowering addiction to X-Cheddar Goldfish. I met Emily in the fifth grade and we've been best friends since.

We started writing TGR the year after, and that version was (dare I say) the crappiest thing I ever read. So we redid it over and over. But truly, whenever we started writing I hated reading so that could in some way justify more horrid writing habits at such a young age, but in the summer of 2007 I read and reread the series called Twilight. And once I got my greedy little hands on those books I learned that I loved to read.

I have now read probably more than twenty books since, and its July 4, 2008. but once I got into reading I read anything and everything I can get my hands on. I'd definitely confirm that after TGR it wont be the last you hear from us. I will definitely continue singing and writing.

When I read its like an escape. Everyone has problems and no one's life is ever perfect, but when I read it's like I escape to the world of the book, to where it is no longer my emotion but that of the characters. It is peace and I could imagine any better. But writing for me is a constant immersion and bliss. Even if someone doesn't write very well, I would still encourage them because I would never want to harbor the feeling of such exhilaration to myself. It seems almost power hunger.

But never have I enjoyed something as fulfilling as fiction. I have always been and 'I'm-gonna-do-what-I-wanna-do' kinda girl so I could do anything in the story and make anything happen. As I have said before, I could have Strawberry Yogurt skies if I wanted.

As for me, this is something you'll always notice in my writing. My main character hates PINK! LOL I don't know why but I have never liked that color. My stories always pull something unexpected and I love to aggravate my readers with suspense. As a writer, I find it a necessity to make your writing different so your readers don't get bored of the same old thing. I can say that I wouldn't change it because the readers like your work and if you did change it too much, it would be like reading from another author.

All I can finish with is believe in yourself and do whatever it takes to fulfill your dreams.

~Unofficial Bio~

I was born in early October, giving my family no excuse not to buy me good gifts ["Too close to Christmas, Easter . . ." The list goes on]. Therefore, I have a pretty good attitude toward birthdays in general. Though I feel it necessary to use an alias, the name Emily Rhodel [stolen from a character in my first novel] has become a name all for itself. Not that I have an alter ego - for the character is very much me - but the name has merely come alive as the character, giving me an almost intolerable impression that this fictional teen does in fact exist. Since I was old enough to carry a book, I would sink my teeth into any story I could reach for with tiny hands. Even if it meant making up a story to go with the pictures [through I would surely die were I forced to such drastic measures at this age!] I read everything from picture books to those funny, incomprehensible squiggles scrawled upon those thick, white pages in that towering stack of books your mother claims is 'Reader's Digest'.

Now that I am passed the needed to use pictures as a guide for reading stories, I read many novels. I always loved fantasy and slowly but surly I gained interest in mystery and myths. I always loved vampires and ghosts. They never frightened me even as a child. I am scared of stupider things like clowns and pain.

[Side Note: The only bone I have ever broken is my right foot. The cause? I fell out of my crib as a baby. I guess I didn't have much grace in me to begin with. End of Side Note.]

Some of the author who inspired me [and in no particular order] are: Jane Austen, Shakespeare, Stephanie Meyer and Stephen King. I have a VERY hard time writing [or doing anything at all] without music. My favorites bands are: Linkin Park, Aly and Aj, Evanescense, Flyleaf and My Chemical Romance.

In time, you will find out more about me and SB too. PLEASE do not pass this on to ANYONE!!!

Hello! I just wanted to let you know, I am currently typing Chapter Nine of the Goddess Realm. It is coming along nicely and I think you'll really enjoy this one for reasons which I cannot go into at the moment. I can, however, tell you we are approaching our first milestone in the plot [found in the beginning of Chapter Ten] and the book has already bounded across the 200 page mark with excessive ease on my part.
Second order of business. The things posted on this page are not crap or merely an activity for us, they are solely for your enjoyment and can be taken away as easily as you can ascertain this valuable information. I say this, not to be mean or harsh, but to let you know that this is not random knowledge you are receiving. I hope, and I say this with utmost sincerity, that you enjoy this.

But anyway i am reviewing Chapters Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, and so-to-be Nine. Urgh but it is really hard to keep up becuz i am also working on a job for a guy at church so i will let ya'll know if anything changes!

Hey ppls wuz up! Ok well we are proud to announce that Emmie just finished typing Chapter Nine and we are now planning and typing Chapter Ten! MMmmm! I am at my sis's work right now and then i have to go to a class with her and then back here for a while but yeah not much else to tell you other than I am almost done editing Chapter Four. But we kinda have a few things going on right now so...yeah and plus i am unfortunately still sick but i have school work and my FanFiction stories to keep up with and lets not forget life too. haha i think i bit off a bit more than i can chew...even with my big ole mouth! lol!

Hey y'all, my thanks shoots out to one of our top contributors Edwarddazzelsme, because she has me addicted to the Twilight series. So this page will be fixed up later but right now I am in the middle of Eclipse (the third book of the Twilight Series) and I want to finish it so I'll be sure to make it loads more interesting.
